MyBB WKU NIT MSG NYC looking for some R-E-S-P-E-C-T
I work by MSG so I can offer up some solid food/entertainment recommendations. Not that you really need them around MSG. All of Midtown's a playground. But I know lots of family-friendly cheap stuff to do if people are making a vacation out of it, or more boozier environs and what have you.

As for the game, what do you guys think? JJ talked about wanting to play in the garden, but what's next? Will all the travel be an issue?

Any good NYC speakeasies in the Midtown area that you can get into without a two week in advance reservation? Love the speakeasy vibe and NYC is the mecca.

Just in general, The Playwright Celtic pub on 8th Ave is really good -- I would recommend

Dang, my one blindspot. I'm more of a pub and neighborhood bar guy.

But I have been to the speakeasy in Grand Central, "Campbell Apartment" and really enjoyed it. I've heard there are more in the 50's (streets) and closer to Central Park. Also NoLIta/Chinatown/SoHo/the village and lower east-side most certainly have the ones you''re talking about, with week-long waits.

The Playwright is great! Also really like Printer's Alley. And The Keg Room is a HUGE sports bar with a million beers on tap and 2 million tv's, right around the corner from MSG/Penn Station.
