Here comes Penny again. And before everybody starts yelling, Kansas, UCLA, WVU and a bunch more high majors are in pursuit, as well.

Crabtree's Senior mix tape. Sort of sets a lie to his lack of recruit ranking. Dude is a 6'6" SG with handles, and shot 47% and 45% from 3 in HS and at Hargrave, respectively.

Penny trying to find that Dead-eye. When was the last time we had a player like that?

IDK, we need some, like anybody, but this isn't the Memphis recruit board.

I posted b/c it's conference news that a commit for one school is taking an OV to another. Not a first, but definitely an interesting development, especially on the heels of you-know-who.

Poaching recruits from conference mates must be the new AAC trend with this, Lomax, and Wichita going after Akinjo.

Akinjo asked for his release after a coaching change. Slightly different than this situation.

It is kinda odd, but it's better than getting poached by somebody like Kansas, out of the league. Assuming you care anything about other schools here, lol, if you lose the recruit, anyway.

Might be more irritating to see him play against you, though.

I didn't know Crabtree had signed with Tulane. I thought he had just made a verbal commitment, which really doesn't mean anything.

He hasn't signed. He is a verbal "hard commit." Made it 3/11. THAT is when other coaches start looking to see if they overlooked anybody.

If anybody ever got overlooked, it would be this kid.

Maybe you get lucky and Hurley has some connection to Hargrave Military.

But hey, you did win the Hurley sweepstakes. Don't worry. Be happy.

What an indictment of our society.

Note: That was NOT meant as a shot at Memphis fans.

I agree. It is an indictment. Especially to old folks who grew up in a quite different, more polite and more honest culture and society.
