New National Powerhouse???
Layola Chicago definitely lucked into the correct bracket. They were dominant against Kansas State, but we know there were some upsets before that.

You right, canewton... Upsets have played a huge role in their present lucky braket.

Is it luck to win 4 games in a row against teams seeded higher than you each time?

Memphis had no fans in here prior to a week ago so how would you know anything about another team's fandom?

True, but the team that REALLY lucked into the right bracket was Kentucky, but they weren't good enough to take advantage of it.

Layola Chicago was clearly underseeded, and good for them for what they've accomplished. I wasn't trying to undermine what they achieved.

I'm really glad a moderator deleted the original post and made it look like the first post was mine. Some Tulsa fan was trolling WSU fans and I was trying to be positive.

Probably not ^^^

But this;
Who has the most pressure to win... The one team with a high salary head coach and with exceptional talent or one that In reality doesn't evenly match and has nothing to lose?!?

We were busy ensuring that we had a coaching change to put us back to where we are supposed to be. But congrats on making it as far in the conference championship tournament as we did when we were at our low point.

The blue bloods have the most pressure due to expectations but they also have the best players to work with. I think it comes down to a combination of factors to get to the final four not the least of which is playing your best basketball in the moment.

I know this is intended to be a joke. But have you looked up Loyola's attendance? They definitely had more fans in Atlanta than they had at home games .... They averaged like 1800 to home games...... in Chicago .... They might be "better" fans .. but only because they just don't have many.

On another note ... Who gets to hire Moser away from Loyola next week?
