Since some VERY major Big 12 message boards are shutting down and I have already been approached to see about a move-in, I am moving the Big 12 board to Proving Grounds effective immediately.

Shaggytexas.com (formerly shaggybevo) is shutting down. Ironically, Shaggytexas' servers also hosted Landthieves.com, a large OU message board.

If the Big 12 would have let in Cincy, Memphis and USF/UCF it would have become one of the most active boards in the site. Just sayin...

I'll post some if I can find it again but the transcript from the trial is HILLARIOUS

Shaggy and Landthieves are not for the faint of heart. Much more vulgarity is tolerated at both of those sites. Both have a lot of traffic, though.

I saw where the Shaggy posters are relocating to something called surlytexas.com.

Not sure where Landthieves will end up. They have a Reddit page for now. Landthieves was started after the owner of a major OU site moved to 24/7 Sports, then made disparaging comments about posters that do not subscribe. Some posters were able to get an OU version of Shaggy hosted on Shaggy's server. Landthieves never moved off of Shaggy's server, until now. That arrangement will end as a result of this suit.

I remember. They tried to start a similar site for A&M "Dirty Sarge" or some such

Lasted about 3 seconds from lack of interest

So Texas longhorn message board is acting like Texas as a conference member, they can frick things up

slightly OT, but...

I can’t believe that case actually went to trial!! Where I live, the judge would have some words of sharp rebuke for that lawyer, and local lawyers would not even bother to take the case, because there’s nothing there!!
