USM down 7-5 in bottom 8. If there’s a plus for our last at bat it’s hat we have 9-1-2 die up and should they get on we’ve got Reynolds-Wallner-Slater who all 3 have at least 5 HR each on the season.

you're breaking my heart if USM loses

Well it’s now broken. USM got a single combined with a 2 base error to start, a rbi groundout, K, walk, single to put tying run on 3rd but Slater (who had homered twice already) flies out to CF warning track to end the game.

Our relief pitchers are gonna cost us a lot more games this year along with the several they’ve already cost us. We’re pretty good on the weekends but our midweek ones are a disaster. If we are gonna win midweek games it’s going to be 8-7, 10-6 type scores.

Eagles bullpen blows a big win for the team and league. Sorry guys. Berry helped a little sending a runner home with less that two outs and the heart of our order coming up...cardinal sin. Runner was out by three steps

We did. Our midweek guy went to Sunday this past weekend at FAU and dominated. He was only going a few innings his first few midweek starts building up his strength/stamina and finally got there. Not saying he will dominate every Sunday but this past one was one of his best

Completely agree on the play at the plate. Had it been 2 outs with the bottom of the order I could see but not with 1 out and Reynolds due up. Our runner was out by so many steps there wasn’t even a need to even try and slide (which he didn’t). If nothing else maybe he could’ve tried going back to 3rd to allow the batter a chance to get to 2nd.

Rice beat Houston
UAB lost to Samford
Charlotte lost to UNC

So unless I mixed up final scores CUSA went 5-4 on the night with 1 OOC game left this midweek (Wednesday).

Always fun to beat Cougar High.

Now time to take that mojo to Hattiesburg and get that first conference series win.

FINAL | ODU falls to William & Mary.

W&M 5 W&M-Norfolk 2

LOL they did not pull a UTSA and score 4 late to come back.

We suck this year. Might go from a top 2 finish to last place.
