Disagree. Marshall could coach ECU talent to an NCAA bid.

wow gabe grant gone too. Sampson runs a tight ship, I like it. A sit one guard would be perfect for them

Haven't heard much about JJ Caldwell, since he got kicked off team at A&M. Is he likley going to end up at UH?

McGusty would be a solid add and good replacement for Corey Davis when he is gone. I was hoping SMU would go after him, but we didn't.

SMU is all in the JuCo market right now.

Top Priority is Number 1 JuCO in Nation Wendell Mitchell. But also real high on Brandon Mahan and Ricky Torres. We have 2 scholarships open right now and might have more depending on transfers.

neither are "likely" at this point..he said it in a wishful thinking kind of way

we currently arent recruiting caldwell, we are recruiting mcgusty...imo we dont target caldwell simply based on need....the one thing we have an over supply off in houston is point guards....we literally started 3 point guards..and will most likely start 3 again next season..the need for caldwell isnt there unless both hinton and dejon both flop

Thanks for sharing.

McGusty would be a solid add, but Caldwell doesn't seem like as much of a need or worth the baggage given your roster makeup.

Wait, what? McGusty is absolutely likely. Sampson is all-in on getting McGusty to UH.

McCullar is probably a higher priority than Caldwell for Sampson.

so are like 7 other major teams, and that is just from him announcing he was transferring 2 days ago, more will come...he is former top 50 recruit.....
until he indicates he is looking at houston, he is just a former touted kid who announced he is transferring that we want

wayyy to early to say "likely"

lol you missed my point...i already stated we were recruiting him...but there has been no indication where he is leaning or what he is even looking for...

by weeks end he will likely have 20+ offers available to him.... my point was that it is way to early to say he is "likely" to houston at this point

Pesik has a point. When you said likely to UH I thought you had some inside info that he was leaning towards UH. I am sure y'all have a good shot to get him though.

FYI Shamet is gone, taking his chance with the draft and hiring an agent. It’s now McDuffie, Reaves and a bunch of freshmen, still looking for a point guard. Pencil the Shockers for 6th place, maybe lower if we don’t land a quality PG.

I’m not sure if top 6 would say more about Gregg Marshall or the AAC.

Tyler Harris is available. He's wanting to go somewhere that will guarantee him PT. Dude is a flat out scorer, just a little short. I would love to see him at Memphis but I don't think he is coming here.

We’re in on several high regarded PGs. Let’s just hope we can land one. We now have 2 open scollies and really need two guys that can handle the rock.

I bet we plan on signing 3. If this weren’t such a lopsided class I bet we’d want to sign 4. I hope we never have this problem again.
