The only thing Houston is waiting for is our chance to play a weak time...after playing six games in 32 days, against teams with a combined 21-7 record, including two Top 5 teams, a Top 25 team and one just outside the Top 25, I'm sure our boys are ready for a little drop-off in the schedule. What a perfect time to see TCU!!! Just what the doctor ordered...
Amen, brother. Boise State is the last of our brutal stretch of 5 bowl teams in 6 games. Our 4 losses have come to teams that are currently 15-5 with three of those on the road. Rough way to start a season for a program that's still rebuilding.

Do you intentionally try to piss people off, or do you just come off that way?
Rice has had a pretty decent season thus far, and I'm glad we're not playing them this year. Any team that can go into Hawaii and trounce the thug warriors deserves props.
I never thought I would hear the day that a Tiger fan would say, "I'm glad we aren't playing Rice". The point of my statement is that we have some crappy clubs just like the NBE has some crappy clubs. Its a wash.

I know... spooky, ain't it??
For some bizarre, unknown reason I've always kinda liked Rice, so I'm glad to see them turning that program around. Maybe it's those cool blue jersey's with the winged helmets that does it for me. I dunno.

Has any team ever gone from #1 on the bottom 10 to #1 in the nation?
We NOW have a goal. besides getting out 1st win of the season and getting more fans to show up at the games.

That makes a lot of sense. Why wait? If the non-BCSer's wanted a lawsuit why not do it now and use Duke, Vanderbilt, and the many other BCS conference cellar dwellers as exhibits?

I like their tradition, class, large media market and academic excellence. It is an honor to have Rice (and SMU) in our new conference.

At least UCF has a first year coach. Tulane has a six year coach. Not good. Really makes CUSA look bad.

You'll have to go into more detail than that for the Bearcrap fans. See, their football program has never really been built, so rebuilding is a foreign concept for them.
