Great news in more than 1 way.....it saves you a RPI killer game and it means your pitching staff has an "all hands on deck" approach for the Little Rock game tomorrow.

RE: April 3-4 midweek baseball
Outside of the USM game I am looking most forward to the FAU at Miami game:

from the FAU website on tonight's game:
FAU has taken the first two matchups this season against the Hurricanes, winning 5-4 in Boca Raton on Feb. 28, and two weeks ago, clinching the yearly series with a come-from-behind victory in Coral Gables. The Owls were down by as many as seven runs in that game, and were still trailing 9-5 entering the ninth. An RBI single and sacrifice fly cut it to two, but the latter was the second out of the inning. On a 2-2 pitch, and with the Owls down to their final strike, Eric Rivera hit an opposite-field grand slam, and that would hold up as the game-winning hit as closer Zach Schneider threw a perfect bottom half to close out an improbable 11-9 win.

Since you mentioned The U, I was talking to some FIU players in the bullpen at a Tech/FIU game and they told me something interesting about Miami. They said when they play Miami, it's listed in their scouting report that the mound in the visitor's bullpen is 61' 6" and that Miami intentionally won't fix it. Pretty dirty trick to try to throw off the visiting pitching staff.

T4 | The top of the order manufactures a run to tie the game.

Bryan Arias walks, moves to second on a wild pitch and steals third base. Ben Brookover then drives a single into left-center to push Arias across the dish.

And later Dylan Rock hits solo dinger.

UTSA 2, Texas State 1

ULL’s slugging percentage was roughly the same as our batting average.

They now lead 7-1.
