RE: Final Coaches Poll
There's no harm but it's a useless debate. Do you remember who finished in the polls last year without looking it up? Do you remember the Final Four and title game participants? It's wasted energy.

RE: Final Coaches Poll
Well if we're going that route than almost everything on this forum and 98 percent of everything we do on the Internet is wasted energy. Honestly the main reason we remember the current poll is because they get referenced on TV and in articles; once that passes, the only way we'd remember if it was something historic, like a favorite program getting No. 1 or a top 10 or 20 spot for the first time. In a few days this thread will do as most polls do and fade from consciousness. No reason not to bat around an idea surrounding it for now.

RE: Final Coaches Poll
Md-Baltimore County had arguably the best win of the year. They whooped #1 overall team by 20(!!!) who won ACC by 4 games at 31-2 on the biggest stage in the sport.

There’s wins of high value. Then there’s wins that transcend the sport.

IMO, the Golden Retrievers should finish top 25.

You guys are free to debate it, sorry if I sound negative.

That said, I'd rather spend my time debating things that actually could be relevant in the future for anything other than bragging rights.
