Comey released a letter to Congress informing them that the bureau would review new emails found on the laptop of Anthony Weiner, who is married to top Clinton aide Huma Abedin. Weiner, a convicted sex offender, was under a separate investigation for lewd communications with an underage girl. Emails from Hillary Clinton were found on his laptop, which was later determined the two shared the laptop. Nothing substantial came of the review; most of the emails were duplicates of ones already analyzed by the FBI. Still, the Comey letter dominated the news and Hillary lost when everyone told her she would win, so she’s still sour. We get it.

As Comey, who was fired by President Trump, prepares his won book tour, where tickets are soaring near $1,000, the former first lady decided to bring this up again at an event in New York City on Tuesday.





Clinton participated in a panel at an event hosted by The Wing, a club for millennial women, in New York. Her shots at Comey were conveniently timed ahead of the April 17 release of his new book, A Higher Loyalty: Truth, Lies, and Leadership.

One of the event hosts mentioned Comey's book was coming out soon before joking, "We may or may not read it." She then asked Clinton what questions people should still be asking about Comey's role in her election loss.

"I've never spoken to him. I've never met him. I've never kissed him," said Clinton, prompting the crowd to laugh.

She referenced Nate Silver, the editor-in-chief of the data website FiveThirtyEight, and used his analysis to support her argument. Clinton said she believes she would have won the election if Comey hadn't sent a letter to Congress in late October 2016 announcing the bureau was reopening the investigation into her use of a private email server while secretary of state.

Clinton also cited the recently published book by Lanny Davis, her longtime friend and supporter, and said the polling data from the campaign indicated she was ahead in key states before the FBI letter was sent to Congress. She talked about the polling results in Pennsylvania, where she said she won the Philadelphia suburbs by 13 points, 5 percentage points less than what she needed.

Nobody likes a sore loser. Or a loser, period. Which she has done. Twice.

I thought it was the Russians? I thought it was white women who listened to their husbands on who to vote for?
I thought it was sexism? I thought it was Fox News? I thought uninformed voters was the reason?
I thought Bernie was the reason? I thought Republican voter suppression was the reason? I thought a broke DNC was the reason? I thought Jill Stein and the Green party taking votes was the reason? I thought the Electoral College was the reason?

If Comey caused Cankles to lose the election, at least he did something of value.
