Since he was a HS QB I wonder if he will get to run some as a Wildcat Back?

Remember the Kelce jump pass. I loved that play (because it worked!).

Great memory. They executed that play to perfection. Also, nice to see Bearcatmill getting some air time on the sidelines.

Torching the entire Dook secondary right up the seam.

Ahhh... it was fun to be good.

That jump pass from the back i believe we first ran in the Liberty Bowl win down in Memphis. Didn't go for a td, but probably the best innovative play of the Butch Jones era.

Actually, I believe Vandy ran it against us that game unsuccessfully.

You're right, i knew i remembered that coming up in that game. That's where Lyle got the idea as Kelce's score was in the following season against the Cuse.

RE: New Column: McClelland Adds Fleet Feet To Bearcats Backfield
I have not seen any comments on one of the best parts of this story.

Gino Guidugli going around high schools in south Georgia talking to coaches. Getting leads and listening to them. Burning the shoe leather. Racking miles on the rental car. Doing the dirty, hard, boring work. Finding guys who are overlooked, or disrespected, or being pushed to other positions by the P5 schools.

Good work coach G.

I am hoping that he is creating a contact base that will serve us well for years to come.

Mr. Hoard - thank you for the story. We need to hear more about the hard work that most of us never see. (and as long as you keep giving us this good stuff, it is "Mr. Hoard", not just Dan.)
