Gonna need a lot with all our pitching woes.

Yeah - UC already tied it up at 4. Definitely different than yesterday.

NCSU could be coming off a sweep of Duke....

MAN, next Tuesdays game will be like THUNDERDOME!

So much going in.
So much on the line.
And this is on top of pure ECU/NCSU hatred rivalry where you don't even need the above to get the juices flowing.

I think the ECU vs State game next week will be the biggest college baseball game in NC in a long time.

I don't understand why you're so upset. At least your team knows how to win meaningful conference games.

We'll drop another road series because we're basically fool's gold. Our RPI is extremely misleading. Sure, we can look like bad asses at home (and even there we've gotten beaten badly with UConn and Tulane), but we're chumps on the road.

We're a bottom half AAC team, that will back into a regional as a 3 seed and go 2 and cue.

And then we lose everybody for next year and our AD will extend Butler another 7 years for making his first NCAA Regional in his entire 10 year history of being a head coach.

Not upset. I just know this team isn’t any good, so I’d prefer to be put out of the race already and not be set up to coog it.

If it makes you feel any better, you're actually in second place. At least until tomorrow. ECU is 8-4.

The only series loss Wichita has on the road is to ECU?

Game has been sold out for a while. StubHub is asking $70-$99. Vividseats $250. Ticketcity $253. Ignore seats labeled Avent's Army, they require a student ID.

RE: Official AAC Week 10 Baseball Thread
Reflector.com
Intensity heightened during Joe Genord’s at-bat against hard-throwing freshman pitcher Gavin Williams with USF leading 3-1 in the top of the seventh inning. There were words exchanged between the two when Genord was out of the batter’s box and the next pitch was sent back to right-center field for a two-run home run.

Genord again took his time getting out of the box to watch the homer and turned around to exchange words with ECU infielders near second base during the home run trot, which brought out Pirate coach Cliff Godwin and players and coaches from both dugouts. The umpires issued a warning to both teams.

“If it was professional baseball, he would have gotten smoked in his next at-bat, but you get ejected and get suspended,” Godwin said. “I wouldn’t let my players act like that, but I’m not the head coach for South Florida. They do what they want to do and we do what we do, but I wouldn’t let my players act like that and we just have to focus on us.”

Karma for USF’s Joe Genord?
USF slugger Joe Genord, who played a role in creating some of the USF-ECU drama, was suspended for five games after the series with the Pirates by the Bulls’ head coach for breaking unspecified team rules.

Susi and Feldstein still out for today's rubber match. Susi is our top hitter and Feldstein is the conference leader in home-runs.

Huge series win with all the injuries. We should have most of our guys returning soon.
