Hey All,

You know the drill. Turns out cinci fans are more patient than UConn...

Cincinnati (click for 2018 preview)

Your job is simple: Vote for the teams you think Cincinnati will beat OR if you think Cincinnati will beat none of them, only vote for the "Winless" option.

UC fans, feel free to convince pollsters why or why not they should win every game on their schedule!

I'll post one poll a week until all 12 football teams are represented, in reverse order of conference finish. Each new post will link to the preceding ones, and polls will be open until the end of the 12 weeks.

Man what an imbalanced schedule! They could start 5-1 or 6-0 and end up with only 7 or 8 wins

I agree with stl and am surprised to find I have them going 8-4 or 7-5. I was not expecting that, a favorable schedule and solid progress will go a long way in won/loss record.

I came up with 6-6. Most of the wins are early, except ECU.

I'm not even a fan and I know its "Cincy" not "Cinci".
I really want CINCY to be a strong team, excited to watch them.

i voted 5-7 based on the quality of the team compared to other but i dont think they'll finish 5-7

i think they'll end up 3-9 or 8-4.. i LOVE their schedule for them...they get a chance to build up their team

they have very winnable games to start that will challenge them and they could easily lose..my rational is if they come through that at 5-1/4-1/5-0 they arent just going to lay down, they will have built a habit of winning ..they arent just going to lay-down for tulane or temple..imo they'll upset a few teams (and it probably wont even be viewed as an upset then)

on the other hand lose to ohio/ miami(oh) and the wheels come off very quickly

I have 7-5. Echo all the other posters. Should get 5 or six early and ECU.

I don’t see any way we end up 3-9. We have been 4-8 the last two years with an atrocious team. Add in a pretty favorable schedule and I just don’t see any way they regress. We’ve brought in more talent, and while I don’t think Hayden Moore is good, he is experienced now, so I don’t see him getting worse.

Also, that Miami (OH) game is at Paul Brown Stadium. It’s technically a home game for them but I would expect a very heavy UC crowd. UC is selling more than just a normal visitors allocation of tickets for this game.

6-6 and a bowl game...

I have the Cats going 6-6. Next year they’re going to take a big step up.

i voted for every game. luke fickell is a football god and UC is back.

I think UC will finish 6-6 or 7-5. Beating Bama A&M is the only sure thing.

I think out of Miami, Ohio, UConn, SMU and ECU, they'll probably win 3 or 4.
I think out of the rest (UCLA, Tulane, Temple, Navy, USF, UCF) they'll steal at least 1, more likely 2.

Anything better is awesome.

That stretch from Temple through UCF is going to be brutal, so we better get off to a good start. If we aren't 4-2 or better heading into Temple, it's going to be a struggle to get to bowl eligibility.

This poll is going to be more interesting than the others so far, I can already tell.

Off the top of my head, starting quarterback. Not the only person with this point of view, we have a near 80 percent odds of winning this game according to the article.

That Ohio game is tough to pick. The Bobcats are not a bad team and Solich has proven himself a good coach; OU could easily win that one.
