SMU had three drafted. A number of AAC schools at two. A couple had none.

I am guessing UCF

Probably. I count UCF with 4 players drafted.

@American_Conf

#NFLDraft Fact: For the second consecutive Draft, The American had a record number of @American_FB players selected - finishing the 2018 Draft with 18 selections over the three days (surpassing last year's 15 picks). #AmericanPow6r

Of note UCF tied for 13th with ten other schools at four picks.

The big xii had 3 teams with 4 picks (OU, Ok St, and Texas) the big 1G also only had 3 schools with 4 or more picks (OSU 7, PSU 6, Wisconsin 5)

Only 4 teams had 7 picks or more led by Alabama.

Alabama: 11
LSU: 7
NC State: 7
OSU: 7

9 of the 12 schools. Not bad.

Big 12 had 8 out of 10 teams represented. No Baylor or Iowa State.
And FWIW:
Sutton 3*, Safety, 1P5 offer, Colorado
Quinn 4*, WR, Multi P5 offers, LSU transfer
Lawler 2*, DL, 0 P5 offers

What?!?!?

That's not possible, recruiting rankings and signed classes are much too important and always accurate . . .

I was surprised Quinn didn't go earlier. He is a stud and there are many in the NFL with his exact role. He'll find a spot and be in the nfl for many years if he wants to.

I am surprised Baylor had zero draft picks. I realize they have had issues of late stemmed from all the off-field stuff, but I figured there was some top talent still hanging around recruited 4-5 years ago.

With respects to the total number taken out of the BXII, has anyone broken down the number of draft picks from the state of Texas (who went to college out of state)? Are there a large number of Texas kids playing in the SEC, PAC12, etc.?

Texas kids play every where.

Dallas and Houston are always number 1 and 2 for most in the NFL. If I remember right, last year or the year before Dallas had more area players in the NFL then every state but 5 (Cali, Texas, Florida, Ohio, Pennsylvania).
