I just found out former UH and NBA player Alton Ford died...
He died a few weeks ago... was a very good friend of mine too.

I'm not. Any loss of life is not to be taken lightly but he never played in this conference and was not really very relevant in college or the pros. George Williams was more important for UH than Ford. Had Ford stuck around UH past his freshman season he may very well have been a big time college player.
