03-pissed

I swear, that smiley is the quintessance of my feelings about my favorite men's bball team. It's just completely disheartening when you can know in the first five minutes of a game, whether or not you'll have a W. IU plays the same every game - so who's to blame? Coaching. I like Mike Davis. I'd like to see him succeed at IU. He's 25-26 in the last 51 games. I'm not ordering up a firing like the rest of southern IN, but, something's gotta give. He repeatedly talks about "not getting it done," yet week in and week out, they play the same offense. The NBA "let's shoot more threes because we can't do anything w/ our shot clock time" crap is old. It doesn't work. Bracey Wright isn't connecting and generally, the offense is dead.

Some say there's a lack of senior leadership. Well, sure, George Leach (who's just a poor excuse for a 7ft basketball player) is going to provide lots. Ha. AJ Moye's the only one out there who really gives a whoop about each week. He lives and dies with each game. It's said to see that he has to go out on such a BAD year. But, such is life.

Next up: Wisconsin or Michigan ..both at home

2 losses = no NIT

 :bang: :chair:

IU will be back. This was a tough year, but they will be back.

And firing Mike Davis is not the answer, or at least not yet.

I agree that firing Davis isn't the answer, either. Think some changes in his coaching need to happen (haha), but that's about it. We all knew it'd be a down year for IU. No big men, no inside presence, defense that sucks.

Next year will be interesting - IU has one of top recruiting classes ...so soon, I believe IU will be right back into the spotlight.

Nice win against Michigan.

Marshall Strickland had a career game, and this seriously hurts Michigan 04-bow Thanks Indiana.

Yep, it was a good win for Indiana. Of courseee, it;s a little too late.

But nonetheless, good win. I didn't see any of it (maybe there's something to that?) lol
