Temple is one of 26 schools, and the only one in AAC to have multiple draft picks in last 3 drafts.

This list doesn’t support our narrative.

We are closer to the G5 then we are to 4 out of 5 P5.

The per team draft average is almost double of the next g4 conference. Not that draft picks mean anything anyway. We are mostly running the uptempo offenses were you might have undersized players but better college players. SEC runs a lot of grandpa football which does well in the NFL.

Heck, how many of those "power" schools had only one or zero guys drafted?

I'm just guessing, but I'd say it's close to half.

So as with everything, there are a few "haves" and the rest of us are "have nots". It's just that some of the have nots get a good paycheck for it.

I was hoping we’d get more than the B12 like last year.

Not really accurate. After you get to Average # Drafted Per Team, look at each number as a percentage of the others, not as raw data, b/c the smaller the number goes, the closer together they become, by raw numbers, which distorts the relationships.

The AAC averaged 1.5 draftees per school. Next one down is the MWC, at 0.75. Only 0.75 away, but that is HALF the AAC number.

By comparison, double the AAC number (same relationship in reverse) would be 3.0 draftees per school. So in reality, only the SEC and the ACC are farther away from us than we are from the MWC, relatively speaking.

Much different than what the raw numbers say, which statistically speaking, are distorted.

Only 10 teams,

One could argue the B10 is actually much worse considering all their advantages with revenue, media exposure, history/tradition, bowl lineup, etc. 32 players in a 14 team league is not that great, especially when you consider Ohio State, Michigan and Penn State account probably for 80% of the guys taken in the draft.
