Since y’all are right there with N.C. State, I’d probably have no problem going on your newspaper’s website and finding coverage of Charlotte baseball right? The college page wouldn’t have 7 N.C. State articles and nothing on UNCC would it?

clt assumes you are speaking of the observer website? That is a poor representation of what is included in the print edition. We all know that print is the future

I want C-USA to elevate our programs and challenge them as the best among the G5.

Marshall owns any school with the “AAC” logo on their chest.

Not that I wouldn't love to agree with you, but how do you figure that?

Umm, one of the worst teams in the conference (right now) - ECU owns you 10-5 overall. USM "owns" almost all AAC teams in the W column but that doesn't mean Marshall or USM wouldn't jump in to the AAC. It has nothing to do with "owning" the teams there. The top teams in CUSA can compete against the top of the AAC but overall CUSA has too many under-performing teams. CUSA has made horrible admin. decisions that have dragged this conference down...to start there should only be 10 or maybe 12 teams in this conference. It has been a "feeder" conference for a long time. The longer a team is in this conference the more that team has a chance to struggle long term.

Both have been referred to as “small schools” with a “low level of competition.” And I’ve seen UTSA called a “d2 school” and a “sun belt school.” If you aren’t a fan of a G5 school, it really doesn’t matter. We’re all the same to everyone else.

clt says saints fans are not well regarded for their intellect.

Not debating the comment, just that it is amusing coming from someone who refers to himself/herself in 3rd person.

Sort of like you guys tell people you’re the University of Louisiana when you’re actually the university of Louisiana at Lafayette.

Awww. Somebody is still whining about another school's name. Aren't you precious?!?

BTW, how is that EL AYE teck lawsuit going? You need to contact ESPN, CBS, SI, etc about our name because they haven't gotten your memo.

Maybe I'm just more optimistic... C-USA finished with 10 bowl eligible teams last season. Sure the bottom 4 were absolutely terrible, but the top 10 were all .500 or better.

You are probably right that C-USA has historically been a feeder conference, but that trend can and should change.

Marshall is undefeated in football against the AAC conference. Marshall just ended the NCAA postseason of the AAC #2 seed.

As my photo alludes to, teams with the AAC logo on their chest aren’t beating us.
