88 North Texas, C-USA
95 UAB, C-USA

37 Boise State, MW .........listed as the highest G5 followed by
49 Memphis, American
55 UCF, American
59 San Diego State, MW

Every other G5 team index rating is in the 60's or higher.

CUSA has a lot of dead weight this year, and that includes ODU, but we do have 5 teams, just missing 6 teams all rated higher than the Best in the Sun Belt. If this holds true the Sun Belt is really going to suck from top to bottom this year. ESPN's Index has Arkansas State at 91 and App State listed at 92 the best in the Sun Belt

Bottom 31 Rankings
8 CUSA Teams
6 SBC Teams
6 MAC Teams
6 MWC Teams
2 AAC Teams

Bottom 41 Rankings
9 of 9 SBC
9 of 14 CUSA
8 of 12 MAC
6 of 12 MWC
3 of 12 AAC

Only P5 in the bottom 30....
100 Oregon State, Pac-12

Bottom P5 Teams
83 Kansas, Big 12
79 Colorado, Pac-12
76 Vanderbilt, SEC
74 UVA, ACC
70 Illinois, Big Ten

It is ESPN, who we don’t have a contract with. What do we expect?

Yep, you don't hand out millions of dollars to conferences just to trash their product. Seems like bad business.

88 seems crappy for NT. I think we are going to be quite a bit better this season.

I hope every head coach in CUSA votes USM in the middle to bottom of the conference this year. We are loaded or reloaded so strap it up.

I get it. We are having to replace a ridiculous amount of production on offense and our entire secondary and we lost our defensive coordinator and we still don't know who the quarterback will be.

A little more detail... losing our best WRs, having an OL that is very much a work in progress right now, no more Ito... but other than that, we are LOADED.. hahahaha05-mafia

We have at least 5 quality RBs that have different things they bring to the table
1. Tez Parks Size 6'1" 210 speed 4.4 hands very smooth receiver out of the backfield Experience Sr. 2L Great Blocker
2. George Payne Size 6'1" 215 speed 4.5 tough inside outside threat can keep chains moving Experience 6th year Senior GS 3L Great Blocker
3. Steven Anderson Size like we have not had since Harold Shaw or Derrick Nix 6'2" 242 speed 4.5 40 a beast down hill runner and blocker Freshman
4. Desire to Win is strong with amazing speed for T-Rod Daniels closest to Ito of all out RB Size 5'9" 202 just had the best Quality Weight gains of anyone on the team Excellent shake and bake and breakaway speed 1 year in the system already
5. Darrius Mayberry was injured just prior to Fl St game but considered the Air Apparent to Ito smith Size 5'10" 190 speed 4.4 excellent hands but still unproven

That just the RB's but believe me we have depth at Wideout and the offensive line. The secondary is young but tons of talent but the Defensive line will make the opposing teams have to get rid of the ball and will stone the run game of most CUSA Teams. We will see. I think this team will at least win 8 games with the potential to win 10.

I think Darkwater is our SID. LOL.

I'm not worried about the secondary. We have plenty of talent there. We'll have the best defense in C-USA.

Offense has talent and a strong OLine. If we perform "C+" and have some breaks go our way, repeating last year won't be a stretch. Improving on last year will take a new QB I think.

Thus far, Parks, Payne, and T'Rod have been very average college RBs. The others have yet to take a snap in a college game. Yes, they have potential. And, yes, the WRs have a lot of potential. Most of it is inexperienced potential which often times is very inconsistent with fantastic plays and mental lapses or unforced mistakes. I'm hopeful, but I could see the next season going a lot of ways.
