I'm sure a lot of people would want to do that. Personally, I'd probably leave the site altogether if it turned into a gambling site. There would likely be too many hoops for it to jump through to make it feasible.

No. It's a violation of the AUP which would result in a ban.

The only wagering that has gone on here is somebody wagering a + or - in rep over something, or having to post a signature that the one who bet with them and won chooses for them to carry.

You can't even legally operate a poker tournament online in the United States last I looked. So that would be a no. Pretty sure it would also violate Google's terms of service.
