This entire thread is Memphis and until I said something exclusively Memphis. This has become an annoying tendancy on this board. UCF has become guilty of it too. Multiple threads about the same subject, something that has nothing to do with the conference as a whole. We have a basketball news thread already here

based on what factual evidence? It appears he's good at recruiting and relating to players...and if you have talented players a lot takes care of itself.

I liked Tubby fine as a coach and a person...he just refused to connect with the community and didn't recruit with any sort of energy or passion.

That said, Memphis has honored it's commitment to Tubby by paying him every dollar he's due...I hope he manages to get HPU to the NCAA in a few years and can ride off into the sunset as a true winner.

the fact Tubby didn't work out in Memphis isn't a reason to hate Memphis IMHO.
