Basketball shoe recommedations
OK, to the hive mind with this one.

Fellow 35+ basketball players, I have been playing in budget Nike "Air" shoes, but the cushioning is kind of crap, probably b/c I bought a cheaper model.

This causes two things. My legs hurt a little after games and my shot is far flatter than when I am shooting around in my tennis shoes (the heavily padded Nike Air Pegasus, the ONLY tennis shoes for active people with bad legs I've found).

So, as my league continues (we're 0-2, awesome), I need to purchase some new kicks to give me a little lift and save my legs a little.

Budget is $85 or less (no LeBron Solders for me).
I'm not a Nike snob.

Need:
- Lift for jump / landing - I spend a lot of time cleaning glass
- cushioning for dead legs
- mid tops, lows are ankle killers, high tops kill flexibility

Don't need as much:
- I'll sacrifice speed / weight for cushion (I'm not fast anyway and I'm not leading fast breaks)
- fashion (The Currys are ugly as ****, but if they can help his ankles, legs, I'll listen).

Anyone got an idea?

Thanks!
