I saw that a graduating senior, Savannah Durkin, on the tennis team is going to continue her education at Rice in the Masters of Accounting Program.

Have been watching Savannah's progress throughout her four years on the tennis team. She has done so much for the tennis team.

Good to know that Rice has restarted the Master of Accounting program after being discontinued for many years.

And of course if you are in Austin, or can make the trip over there, go support Savannah and her teammates in the NCAA regional this Friday and Saturday at UT's new Texas Tennis Center. The Owls face Texas A&M at 10 AM Friday. The winner will play again on Saturday at noon against either UT or McNeese State.

Interestingly, UT is hosting a men's regional on the same dates, with the men's matches starting after the women's matches. So it will be a tennis-palooza in Austin.

It used to be a BS in acctng for a 4yr degree, BSc in accounting if you completed a 5th yr. I'm glad it's now a Masters.
