Possible 6 bid league if Cincinnati/Tulane/WSU win the tourney.

Possible hosting spot if UCONN or ECU sweep next weekend. (But we all know how hard it is to sweep in this league).

ECU is in a good position to host with a RPI of 14 and multiple top 25 series wins.

I'd say borderline host. Probably need to win 2 at UCONN to get that #16 seed.

If ECU goes 3-1 this week they will not be the last host, not considering the conference tournament.

Mid-inning drop dead times are ridiculous and should not happen in college baseball. The AAC needs to implement an "inning can't be started after this time" drop dead policy. IF you're gonna start the start, you should have to end it. Wichita got screwed over.

Weird way to be eliminated from the regular season title race.

Down to ECU. Sweep next week @UConn (tall order) for a share. I wouldn't mind it, I like me some ECU baseball. Good luck!

I do not share in your faith of Selection Committees when it comes to the AAC.

No one has swept UCONN this year. While ECU may win the series, they will not sweep.

Congrats to Houston! AAC Regular Season Champs!

I wouldn't call for a sweep either, but one oddball fact about ECU baseball is we are 18-2 on the road this year. Injuries are unfortunately starting to hit again.

ECU hosted in CUSA with a worse resume

I thought this was just a C-USA thing, too. Drop dead games, should, well, drop dead.

You absolutely are on point. It's little league.

However, a WSU win wasn't going to do much for them; other than give the Butler apologists another foot to stand on. Might've been the best outcome for WSU in the long run and definitely a fitting way to end it under this regime.

Thanks Huskies for beating the Coogs. Now all we need to do is sweep you next week to be co-champs. I knew you had our backs.

Remember this happened with the assistance of Gary Overton who was on the selection committee at the time. We hosted with something like a 21 RPI
