Chipper recommendations?
I came across a fair piece of property that has been neglected for about 25 years or so. I am wanting to go through the woods and get rid of any saplings and hanging branches in order to create walking/riding trails and to open the views. I don't have the money to buy a skidsteer mulcher so am looking at alternatives. I have a tractor that could use the pto to run one. This is the most expensive and right now would be the hardest to use as it'd be too bulky to get into the woods. There are some lighter models that could be trailed behind quads. This would be beneficial because I could also get teenage nephews to help.

So does anyone here have any expertise they could share? Brands, sizes, places to buy, do's or dont's, etc. Any help would be appreciated.

I just have a little Tazz K32 which I use on my 1.5 acre lot to keep cleaned up (rather than just piling up limbs over in the woods). It does fine with most things up to about 2.5 in. diameter. But not for heavy duty clearing. I know at most tool rental places you could get something like a 25 hp pull behind for about 600-700 bucks a week if you didn't want to commit to purchasing.
