Quote:AN AUTHOR and educator has been ridiculed after saying parents should ask babies for consent before a nappy change, and watch for a response through body language.
Deanne Carson said in an ABC News segment that families could set up “a culture of consent” in the home by asking newborns: “I’m going to change your nappy now, is that OK?”
The CEO of youth relationship service Body Safety Australia added: “Of course, a baby’s not going to respond, ‘Yes Mum, that’s awesome, I’d love to have my nappy changed,’ but if you leave a space and wait for body language and wait to make eye contact, then you’re letting that child know that their response matters.”

Get lawyers to litigate this, by the time the kid's 21 and it's decided you won't have to change anything.
RE: "Expert": You should ask for consent before changing a baby's diaper
I wonder if kids can sue retroactively for their parents violating their wishes. I'm sure these fragile snowflakes would consider the changing of unwanted soiled diapers to be abuse of some kind.

TBF... When changing my kids I would always say something like "Let's change your diaper, ok"... But it was not the "can I" ok, it was the "this is happening"

I really really really hate those cotton candy hair colors. The colors are bad enough but 99% of the time it's accompanied by the most horrid hair cuts. Worst is on a grandmother.

I'm with ya. Shocked at some "professional types" that I've encountered with carnival colored streaks in their hair. Really hard to take someone seriously when you see that.

Like Juan William's wife. Man, I was and was not surprised to see his wife with purple hair or was it blue. Anyway, she most undoubtedly is a Prius driving Lib...and so is her husband. Sometimes I think it's Mach on TV.

I don't like it, either. Thing is, I have really started to learn that appearance does not indicate the type of person they are or if they can actually deliver.
