H-Town Speed City?!? I don't think that name is appropriate for Houston.
The one name been thrown around in the Rockets an Astros sports channel is "City Of Champons" due to Rockets, Astros and University Of Houston Pech Bowl Championships.
Oh and Houston Comets WNBA championships.
Championships: 4 (1997, 1998, 1999, 2000)
Conference titles: 4 (1997, 1998, 1999, 2000)
History: Houston Comets; 1997–2008

Until the Astros win last year Houston had something like the 4th longest championship drought of the major pro-team cities in the country.
Doesn't exactly scream "city of champions."

That's not the Houston I grew up in.
Oilers continual playoff losses, Astros losing playoffs in heart breaking fashion, Phi Slama Jama... Even after a few professional sports championships (Rockets almost 25 years ago and the Astros six months ago), it's really hard for a guy my age (mid-forties) to consider Houston the "City of Champions".

RE: H-Town Speed City
Iam in my mid fifty’s and can tell y’all about a bunch of heart breaks but the best of times for me was in the 70s going to the dome to see the Astros paying $2 bucks at the gate with my friends and had the whole dome to ourselves drinking big gulp beer for a $1, 32 oz, but then the stros started getting really good and there were all these people invading my dome but id still get drunk only to walk out after the game and I would be like” where’s my f**king car ?”, WTF this parking lot is so damn big and I could never remember where I parked!
So I would just walk from one side to the other until most cars were gone already and by now I was sober.... ahhh ok I parked near F- 6 , I was thinking at first I parked at g-2, or was that D-14 or J-5?

ROX just need to hit their shots. Good god, all the bricks they put up last night was the reason they lost. From layups to free throws, to the horrid 3-pt pctage, it was an ugly night of shooting.
Now one thing I will say is I want to see happen is CP3 take over ball handling duties in the closing minutes. Isn't that why they brought him on board? Let the playmaker do his thing, and let Harden just find his spot and get ready to shoot so that CP3 can break down the D and get Harden a shot. If you're going to just let Harden dribble down the shot clock and then get smothered by the defense so he can't get a shot off, well what the heck did we get CP3 for? That's the same nonsense that cost us in playoff games past, so why are they still doing it when they have CP3?
Oh, and make a bucket please!
