Apartheid and what is happening in Israel are similarly not similar. Apartheid was two factions within the same borders. Israel and Palestine are two countries fighting over and across borders. Trying not to pick 'who started it' because you'd have to go back literally thousands of years, but the issue is that Israel wants to be
where Palestine doesn't want them to be. I don't think most Palestinians care if Israel exists, they just don't want them to exist where they are. THAT is similar to Apartheid, though it's the Palestinians who are the aggressors there. Israel similarly doesn't care where Palestine is, as long as they aren't under attack. Israel isn't 100% innocent in the 'where they are' battle either though... but I believe that at least SOME of it is based on the proximity for attack... the 1967 (iirc) war.
I've heard Palestinian leadership call for the end of Israel. That can't be tolerated. I haven't heard Israeli leadership do the same. Maybe they have... and if so, THAT needs to stop as well. Not talking about wahoos who are an internal issue, but leadership which is an external one. Of course you can't control wahoos if you have the same opinion.
