The C-USA series finale at FIU has been cancelled due to weather conditions. The Owls end the regular season with a 24-29-2 record and 12-15-2 in conference action. The Owls next head to Biloxi for the C-USA Tournament.

I hope the team has one more run in them. Even if Rice runs the table in Biloxi, Rice still won't have a winning record on the season. In fact, it may take getting to a Super Regional (at a minimum) to guarantee OG's winning record streak. 4-0 (or 4-1) in Biloxi gets to 28-29-2 or 28-30-2. Winning a regional is a 4-1, 3-1 or 3-0 proposition. Anything less cannot get the winning record. And then the record in a super regional has to come into play.

Time to pull it together, Owls. We'll be rooting for you.

EDIT: I guess going 3-2 in the regional could result in a .500 record if Rice sweeps in Biloxi.

My bet is he'd pitch if he's facing us. Having said that, I'm pulling hard for MTSU so that we're in the other bracket, and will likely get an opportunity to pay back FAU for their classless behavior at Reckling.
