They announced plans for a $300 million stadium renovation and new indoor practice facility a year ago. $300M is a hell of a lot of money for a school like Kansas to spend on a terrible football program. https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nc...103103820/

In September, a rich alum, David Booth, donated $50M towards the cost of the new stadium, and in December the Kansas BOR agreed to rename the new stadium The David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium.

My prediction from last summer stands. Oklahoma and Kansas to the Big 10, announced in '21 or '22. Kansas is investing in football now in preparation. Big 12 as we know it collapses. Texas probably goes independent for a few years while they decide which conference to join. Memphis and the top AAC schools combine with some of the Big 12 leftovers.

Can we name it "Red White Blue Patriotic Athletic Conference?"

Briskbas cast the die years ago. See my sig.

How?

All their MBB players would most likely be free to transfer without sitting out. Since the FBI has been about MBB then it most likely will be Tiger related.

RE: Kansas just fired its AD
OK, I know something about this situation. I have a close connection to the athletic dept at Kansas. They called in all the coaches that were out recruting for a special meeting and....this was the meeting...the firing of the AD. Also, his firing had to do with not just the lack of success of the football program but also, the naked cheerleader hazing incident. Here is a quote from the news story on the incident. “The reason why I’m leaving KU is solely because the university and the athletic department decided to treat me and my other teammates like we didn’t matter and were instead just pretty faces for the media,” she said. Here is a link to the story.

The further Pussification of America. That whole story reads like a summer camp movie script from the 70s & 80s, back when people had a little thicker skin.

You would think....after all the news stories and negative consequences....that hazing would be passe and students would learn that hazing today...is a really bad idea. Cheerleader hazing where the girls strip naked for male cheerleader alums to view....come on now....this has got to be a really dumb idea. All it takes is one informer for lots of people to get expelled or kicked off the squad. Then, there are the news stories and the embarrassment to the school. Who thinks hazing is really a great idea?

If someone has socks on are they considered naked?

Azab's is probably available.
Jayden's could be available for the right situation.
Does Streets Ministry still provide schollies?

But...if I was Kansas I would be looking more at what has transpired at Memphis in the basketball department. Specifically... Pastner, Tubby and that Penny has yet to be proven as a good D 1 Coach.

Yes. And from everything I’ve heard, that’s ‘Yes’ period.

I'm betting that he will. The announcement is that he will. Everyone says he will. But it's not certain until it is.

This I do not understand. Penny should know that things can happen and you should always have a scholly in your back pocket. Stokes to UT
