Certainly, no one has disagreed but I live in the real world. That's an occupation with high stress and PTSD. You could just catch at cop on the wrong day and you will never eliminate some aspects of that it no matter who you hire how you train etc. You bare some responsibility just to protect yourself by compliance.
I live in the real world as well. The only thing attitudes like yours do is attack the victim. There has to be a line in the sand where something is considered wrong and not a gray area that can be explained away because of some minor detail.
The question posed here was "should Sterling had been tased?" For most the answer is no, but for you and a select you, you want to say "maybe. because he did not take his hands out of pockets ...."
Whatever dude. I never said any of that, in fact I was sympathetic to him having his hands in his pockets and pointed out people do that when they are nervousness as anyone would be surrounded by 10 cops would be and how it would be easy for that not to register mentally at that point adrenaline kicking. Most of the mistakes on both sides were made at the start of the interaction where he broke the law and then didn't comply initially to mundane commands like giving him his licenses and backing up which led to the situation escalating and 8 jacked up cops rushing to the scene which was the gasoline.
I even said the cop was an ass hole with an attitude and out of line from the start but Brown didn't comply from the beginning and bares some responsibility for where it escalated too and I'm about as progressive a person as there is and certainly acknowledge racism, police brutality etc. I also don't think the cop asking him for his licenses is unfair or calling back up when a 6-6 guy tries to get in his car though and that's where it went downhill if we are being objective. Someone has to check their ego and you are never going to win vs a cop in those situation when that's part of the job not to back down, people just need to accept that, you push back you make it worse on yourself.

RE: Don’t tase me bro....
I think everyone can agree that Sterling handled it pretty well. Did he handle it perfectly.. of course not, but he handled it well. I mean the cop if raising his voice saying "I own this" and "yelling backup" and Sterling backs up and says i backed up man. Officers says "We're going to figure out what we're gonna do," (umm how about write him a ticket and move on). Sterling never raised his voice or became aggressive. I am proud he kept a cool head considering how much of a dick that cop was being. Also, the hands argument is annoying to me (obvisouly its smart to keep them out), I get the argument if he is being hostile or aggressive the hands becomes a major concern or upon the initial contact with him if his hands are in his pockets, but that occurred like 10 minutes into the video. He was surrounded by like 5 officers and had reached into his pocket already to pull out his keys and turn off the car alarm after a cop bumped the car and set it off. Not like he walked up on someone with hands in pocket, he had committed a traffic violation and was talked to and antagonized for 10 minutes and had his hands in and out of pockets at 2AM in January in Milwaukee in a light hoodie and they yell remove your hands and he responds "hang on i got stuff in my hands" and immediately gets tackled by 4 cops and while they are ontop of him taze him. In no way is anyone in the wrong under these circumstances. This was awful to watch. I am just glad there was a body camera and Sterling is alright.
The other awful part is the lies the officer put in the report saying Sterling was "very aggressive" and "physically resisted".

Fight the cops in court, not on the street.

What about "Don't take me to an elevator! Don't take me to an elevator! Please!"
