Comcast preparing to bid on Fox properties
Verge reports:

-Comcast wants to block the Disney acquisition and purchase the properties at stake.

-They also want to pay all cash in the deal instead of trading stocks.

-Another article said it would be a 17% bump over the total that Disney had offered.

-This article doesn't specifically mention the RSNs, but Comcast has an RSN system already and would essentially corner the market in that arena should they purchase what Fox has. That's partially my opinion, of course.

I don't think FOX wants cash. They would rather have stock and not have to pay capital gains. But it's worth keeping an eye on.
