Pennys first few seasons will be key to whether he can maintain the good will with the local players.

If Tyler stays stuck to the bench this year that will be tough to deal with (Less of an issue with ALO IMO)

Tyler has to produce too. If he’s 20%from 3 and a turnover machine, he can’t expect to play all American minutes. I think he will be ok.

I am not saying that backlash will be warranted but most times it is not.

Just because a kid is from Memphis doesn’t mean jack as far as playing time. If Harris gets beat out by a kid from Atlanta, you play the best player. If you don’t, you won’t be able to recruit nationally.

I’m sure Penny is not taking where a kid is from in deciding playing time. Lomax will play because he is a TRUE PG. Been wanting one of those for years.
