I'd encourage anyone to make the trip. Beautiful if long drive and Fayetteville can be fun for a few days. Good eats, watering holes, day trips. Grew up near there and spent a nine month sabbatical up there two years ago. Lemme know if you want info.

Yeah, Hogville is their most active board. Most of them have been pretty respectful of our team thus far.

Baum Stadium is considered one of the top college ballparks in all the land, maybe THE top ballpark.

Baum itself is nice but the area outside is non descript, nothing unique like the roost, left field lounge, or natural surroundings.

I covered Sandlin in high school here in Georgia.

The kid throws nothing straight and he can attack you from three different arm angles (including submarine) with velo up to 94.

He was as dominant then as he is now. I was fortunate to also cover Orioles first round pick D.L. Hall around that same time frame, and Sandlin was a better pitcher than he was. If Nick was a bigger kid then you'd be talking HIGH draft pick.
