RE: I don’t often make predictions but when I do I’m usually right so...Marshall...
This is a nice, thought provoking prediction, but I think it is likely that you are wrong on at least one count, and possibly both. The change in scheduling and its impact on all the teams is difficult to assess at best. That's one factor. Also, there does seem to be a solid group of teams ready to compete for the championship this year, anyone of which could get the job done. Even with Elmore returning, I think the odds of repeating are against you in roundball. As for football, you do have a ton of talent returning, but you also have a quarterback to replace. With FAU coming to your house, I will agree you have a realistic fighting chance to take the East, but an East championship for the Herd is definitely not etched in stone.
Thanks for the post. It drove me to take a closer look at the Herd in both sports.

Fans always talk about whether there's a rivalry or not. If the players are feeling it, then it's there. Hopefully this gets some good back and forth before we play. Makes it more fun for the teams and the fans.

Link didn't work for me. Went to Twitter but said the page didn't exist.
This is a rivalry that grew fast and if Western ever gets another FB coach it will continue to grow. But it's also a rivalry that takes place in both major sports.
I know most Western fans will always think Middle as #1 as a rival. Myself I think Marshall will catch up very quick and the potential to pass the 100 miles of hate.

I'll make my own prediction. MU makes neither title game and MU ATO ******* and moans about it.
Actually it was over yours or whomevers biased pointless preseason poll that it wasn’t followed under their dumb*** rules then it didn’t count. My poll had Marshall #1 which was far closer to reality than any of the goobers putting them 5th or 6th. I owned them just as Marshall U will own CUSA this year.
Interesting that you claim to not care about it yet you still post about how much it bothers you lol. Next time I'll be sure to include whatever troll post you come up with this year, don't worry. Hopefully the other herd fans who actually put in an ounce of effort will cancel yours out.

I think it’s becoming one of the best rivalries in CUSA and the G5 world. I like how quickly a name was given to it. All that’s missing now is some sort of traveling trophy.
