Yeah much better not to pay a small fee to watch your teams games. Down with ESPN for trying to improve their business. CUSA isn’t a hot property, lucky that someone is willing to pay for it. Maybe UNT should start their own Longhorn Network since ESPN + is not something you like.

Hey if he wants to be mad that he can get the content on a better more stable streaming service at half the old price let 'em rip.

My preference was to keep our content on C-USATV and stream the channel on Pluto. At least we would have retained the rights, expanded our reach, and not be relegated to espn's sub-service. I'm sure there is virtually no money in this espn deal, so it isn't like that would be a factor.

Your reach will be much better on an ESPN sub platform than through Pluto (which I don't remember seeing CUSA games there). Additionally, ESPN will have the ability to move a CUSA game to ESPN/2/U as warranted. I also suspect in game highlights will be more freely shared on national broadcasts. Fans love watching crazy plays, long TD throws and kickoff returns whether it is Alabama or Charlotte.

I've browsed the Pluto TV guide quite a few times and I rarely find anything that makes me say oh I wanna watch that
