Where is the proof that the Sunbelt qudrupled their deal and on top of that the Sunbelt now has to foot their on production costs on ESPN+. So they were getting peanuts before and still getting peanuts considering they have to produce their on content.

The CUSA deal was cut by 80% in 2016 so what if it doubled now, lol. Especially now that we have to shoulder the cost of producing content on ESPN+. Paenuts before and Peanuts now.

The big winner in all of this is ESPN, basically free programming that they can charge for. Hell of a deal for ESPN not for G5 conferneces

"By the way---the last 4 sports deals signed (all in the last 3 months) were all doubles to quadruples in terms of value growth (Sunbelt +4X, CUSA +2X, UFC +2X, and WWF +3X). Its worth noting that CUSA doubled revenue is just 2 years (last deal was in 2016)."

Sun Belt schools will see an increase in annual revenue well above the current $100,000 per school, sources said. Under the new deal, Sun Belt schools can expect $300,000 to $400,000 per year with annual increases.

Wednesday’s C-USA announcement did not include financial terms, but the Sun Herald has confirmed that schools will receive about $400,000 annually under the new deal.

Ive said that CUSA has already doubled their revenue. Which the Sun Herald has confirmed. Ive said nothing about the CUSA/ESPN+ deal really. I simply dont know much about it yet. All Ive said is that CUSA MAY end up MORE than doubling their revenue IF they see net revenue from the ESPN+ deal or they renew with BeIn at a higher amount next year (or both). Keep in mind, CUSA doubed thier revenue in just 2 years.

The 80% cut wasnt a cut at all. Show me where the current roster of CUSA teams went to the open market and was paid 14 million in 2011. The truth is--entering 2016, this roster of CUSA teams had an unknown value. That 14 million payout negotiated in 2011 had as much to do with the 2016 CUSA as the 10-million dollar a team offer ESPN made to the Big East in April of 2011 had to do with the 2013 version of the AAC. In 2013 the BigEast/AAC went from a 10 million dollar a team offer from ESPN to a 2 million dollar a team offer. An 80% cut--just like CUSA.

Both conferences have had their open market base line reset after a massive restructuring of their composition. Everything I have seen indicates that their values will now go into an uptrend as long as they stay stable and continue to develop.
