The fact it blends so well with the rest of the University just adds to the aesthetics. As far as the inside goes...it needs help. To me they modernized a lot of it but it almost throws the whole ambience off. So I am purely going off the outside of the structure and curb appeal.

Do you mean SMU's Gerald Ford Stadium? Ford Field is the Detroit Lions' stadium.

I chose Houston's TDECU stadium. It is new, feels big time and a major improvement over Robertson Stadium. I think if they manage to fill it consistently it provides the feel we need to aim for in this conference. 45,000-50,000 people in the seats week in week out would be great for this conference.

you would have LOVED to see UCLA @ Memphis then :-)

you have UCLA visiting Memphis at 11am on ABC and it just happened to fall on Cooper-Young Fest.

we had like 48k at the game (Memphis wins) and 50k+ at CY Fest right outside the stadium.

It was a total blast.

Yep, I was wasted.

For the person that said ghetto, midtown Memphis is an awesome neighborhood and there are some other great neighborhoods next to it. Granted, there are some bad neighborhoods too but not where the Liberty Bowl is located.

same i love the architecture of the stadium. The fact that it only holds 40k is amazing.
I will definitely try to make it down there when UConn travels to uh in a few years.

I will take USF's / Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Raymond James) Stadium.
Ray-Jay has hosted multiple Super Bowls. Super Video Boards, Chair back seats with cup holders and arm rest. Easy access to concessions, beer and really good food.
2 Stadium Clubs with A/C.

Easy on and off the interstate and great laid out parking lots.

OK! You can not start. 1) It is a Pro stadium. 2) Not on Campus. 3)Revenue Distribution.
Ok Haters, Do your BEST!

Why is everyone else's stadium photo taken on a brilliant sunny day but Nippert's is a gray, dreary day.

I think it's affecting the results.

USF and Temple -- those aren't your stadiums, they belong to NFL teams

SMU, Tulsa, Tulane -- if a football game is played, but no one is there to witness it, was it really ever played?

Navy -- love it; great town and stadium

UH -- it's new, haven't visited yet

Cincy -- neat, very urban, feels old school

UCF -- erector set, feels cheap

UConn -- northern football, weird grass, remote location

Memphis -- ghetto

Well you got your jerkstore quota for the week out of the way...
