FAU, Paradise just got better!
I'm a former FAU season ticket holder, actually I'm a former season ticket holder to 5 CUSA schools (4 SBC Teams). So I still get emails from those school and below is one from FAU.
Paradise just got better!
Florida Atlantic University fans can now experience "Paradise Pricing" at FAU Stadium this fall! An a la carte menu featuring staple game food -- including hotdogs, chips and soda -- will be available for $5 or less for all FAU fans, including students. Also, at all FAU regular-season home games two free slices of pizza will be provided to the first 1,000 FAU students with a valid Owl Card at a location inside of FAU Stadium.
"Paradise Pricing" is as follows:
Student Menu (locations vary) - Students must show valid Owl Card
$5 - Imported Beer -- available at all bars with proof of age
$4 - Domestic Beer -- available at all bars with proof of age
$3 -- Nachos
$2 - Hot dog
$2 -- Soda
$1 -- Pretzel
$1 -- Chips
$1 - Water
Fan Menu (locations vary)
$5 - Imported Beer -- available at all bars with proof of age
$4 - Domestic Beer -- available at all bars with proof of age
$2 - Hot dog
$2 -- Soda
$1 -- Pretzel
$1 -- Chips
$1 - Water
We can't wait to see you in the fall!
Go Owls!
Those are some great prices and very fan friendly. How are the prices at other CUSA schools? I know it cost $12 or $13 for a beer, hotdog and chips at Western. Water is $4 a bottle, Domestic Beer $6 and cokes $5
Western has one of the better selections when it comes to food at a football game in CUSA. But can be very costly. I personally eat before a game and usually limit myself to one coke or one beer but mostly coke at a ball game. Now my son can easily spend $30+ dollars no matter what game we go to.
But I think FAU is getting it correct on pricing and very fan friendly.

Those ARE excellent prices.
Now, the most important question - how did you get to become a season ticket holder for 5 different schools? is it some sort of a sharing deal?

Each season I pick one road game that we attend and buy season tickets to that school. It's the lowest cost tickets and we still end up sitting with Western fans.
I donate the others back to the school for them to give out to a local Boy's & Girl's club. If not one in the area any low income group center. We all need fans and I figured this was a way to get a couple fans interested.
I started going to the Boys club at the age of 5 (1965) and going to Western games through the Boys club and Western players interning at the Boys Club help me to become the fan I am today.

Have to compete with the $2 PBR Tall Boys and $3 Guinsess/Harps specials at the Irishmen Pub.
