Like some earlier posters, I am OK with any private business denying service to any potential customer for any reason, regardless of how odd or objectionable that reason may be. The free market should, over time, take care of any business outliers that voluntarily excludes enough of the population to make the business not viable. Even if that means it offends me, my family, or a group with which I identify.

However, the coin has two sides, and I similarly would expect the "other side" to not press legal action, sue, and use biased government to strong arm businesses that refuse service to groups with which I do not identify nor support, regardless of how odd or objectionable that reason may seem to be.

I need to pass by Lexington later this summer, my plan is to stop by the Red Hen with friends for dinner. Once we have our food, each will go to the restroom change into a Make America Great Again shirt and put on the MAGA hat then go back to the table. Why wait till we are served? I think the law should be to have a sign in the window specifying whose money you don't want: blacks, gays, white men, Trump supporters, pink pusssy hat wearers, people who own Confederate flags, people who own American flags... I want to know. If I knew this place didn't want business from Trump supporters, I would have found somewhere else to eat in Lexington... or kept going to Mrs. Rowe's in Staunton.
