Yeah, but I'm honest enough to admit a lot of our opponents will have to HELP us get there. In other words, we DON'T really control our destiny.
Nope, they don't. All you have to do is win out. Nobody is gonna lay down for Charlotte. If you win the rest of your games you will have done that on your own and be CUSA champs and earned it. If you lose one, especially to FIU, it gets a lot harder and you will need help in the form of others losing.
I don't know why this concept is so hard for people to understand?
Control your own destiny means: You can win the division strictly based on your team winning the games they play.
It does not mean you are good enough to do that. Doesn't mean that there aren't other paths to the championship, doesn't mean that there aren't other matchups that are important to the race...
