It's not Ohio State's University, it's THE ohio state university.

shut up you pompous asshat.

I don't know which way to go on this. He presents as an Ohio University person, so it could have been sarcasm since OU takes pride in being older than Ohio State. On the other hand, most Ohio students wear the scarlet and gray on fall Saturdays, so maybe sincere.

The report says other male athletes and students on campus were abused. 9 wrestlers can forward saying that Jordan knew. But, that does not count other complaints from football players, baseball players, basketball players, male cheerleaders and so forth. None of them would tell Jordan since he was not their coach. It could effect the other coaches in the other sports knew or not.

I thought Ohio Poly was Akron...

And from my experience attending OU, I wouldn't say most OU students wore the scarlet and gray on fall Saturdays, but there was definitely a sizable amount.

Just curious, do a lot of Marshall students sport WVU colors, or nah?

Republican Jim Jordan Was Told About Alledged Abuse When he Was An Assistant Wrestling Coach

So, is this another Penn. State? Some accusers said they were teenagers when the athletics doctor molested them. All victims from 14 sports including football.

Jim Jordan knowing about this has been debunked as fake news. Please retract and disavow.

A former Ohio State wrestler on Thursday seemingly reversed course on an earlier claim that Republican Rep. Jim Jordan was aware of instances of alleged sexual abuse against students by a team doctor while he was a wrestling coach at Ohio State University.

Mark Coleman released a statement, via a public relations company, in which he sought to clear up “comments attributed to him that were not accurate or were misconstrued by media outlets.”

The company that provided the statement is the one hired by Jordan's campaign to respond to the claims.

Accusers say Rep. Jim Jordan turned a blind eye to allegations of sexual abuse by the team doctor while he was an assistant wrestling coach at Ohio State University more than 20 years ago; chief congressional correspondent Mike Emanuel reports from Washington.

“At no time did I ever say or have any direct knowledge that Jim Jordan knew of Dr. Richard Strauss’s inappropriate behavior,” Coleman was quoted as saying in the statement. “I have nothing but respect for Jim Jordan as I have known him for more than 30 years and know him to be of impeccable character.”
