Exclamation Single ticket prices
Guys, I'm trying to do some in-depth profitability calculations for ACC football, but to do it I need 2 things: (1) single ticket prices and (2) home attendance numbers, by game. I need both for the last 6 years if possible. Can we use this thread as a place for everyone to put their school's data when/if they can find it? Maybe we can give it a few weeks... that way I'll only have to research the hard-to-find data.
Thanks!

RE: Single ticket prices
Single Ticket prices at face value for State is $55 for 2018 or $385 for the season with 7 games. The parking pass is more than the ticket.

Prior average attendance has been:

17 - 56810 (Nothing remarkable)

16- 57420 (Notre Dame in Hurricane Mathew)

15- 56460 (Nothing remarkable)

14- 54350 (DD and 8 game losing streak with TOB's leftovers)

13 - 53175 (Tom O'Brien fired after this season)

12 - 54080 (Egg laid against Tennessee to start season)

These are rounded to the nearest 5.

CF seats 57,583 according to the Fire Marshall. For ND bleachers were squeezed in and raised capacity to 58,200. If the team is decent and the coach is not hated the place fills up no matter how bad the opponent might be, although you might not see them in the stadium as the tailgating and drinking is so popular. The actual price of a parking pass varies from your first born son to none of you damn business.

This is where State hits you - you need priority parking for the best tailgating and that's based on points. I suppose the effective cost is about $80-85 a ticket, minimum. Duke of course has the highest effective ticket price for basketball - something on the order of $250 a ticket if memory serves. Carolina can't monetize tailgating because you have to park in the Hospital decks or out at the Friday Center. They also have a problem with the party room in the Dean Dome as it's 30 years old, the acoustics leave a lot to be desired, and unlike in the past, some folks do not want to be seen.

If this were 25 years ago, an expansion would be underway at CF and the correct size would be around 65-70K. However the CTE issue in football and the cultural changes for young people have shaken the current administration from jumping out with any expansion. Moreover, a bridge or tunnel likely needs to go under or over a 300 foot wide right of way for Wade Avenue because the actual site of CF buts up to NC Fairgrounds, which itself is constrained by the railroad tracks. Think Columbia, SC but not nearly as ugly and not with as much asphalt.

Cuse has gone to dynamic pricing. You can find tix as cheap as $20 for Wagner, $25 for UConn, while the cheapest for FSU and other conference rivals is $35. That will be in the end zone. It goes up to slightly over $100 for the best seats.

Dynamic prices are ideal for what I'm doing. Is there a link? Are previous years available?

Don't you need a good number of unsold single game tickets for real dynamic pricing? If a school sells out it's season tickets - full season and mini-packets and they have relatively few single game tickets how can they do dynamic pricing and it have a significant effect?
