And they are expanding their stadium. It should be close to 25k this season and 30K for 2019. I expect they'll be averaging in the upper 20s in 2019.

Based on what?

Based on the fact they have consistently been one of the top drawing FCS programs and have averaged near capacity in a 19,000 seat stadium over several years, despite playing a subpar FCS schedule.

Liberty will outdraw a lot of Sun Belt, MAC, and CUSA programs. That's not even really a question. They may have a lot of other issues/problems, but support for a lower level FBS program won't be one of them.

They're going to get a boost from the upgraded stadium and schedule but I see them topping out in the low twenty's unless they really come out punching. To say they're going to double their attendance in two years is silly. This is coming from someone who lives in the area. And they've sold over the 19,000 capacity several times in the last few years so it's not like that's been holding them back that much. You guys are overestimating the demand for Liberty Football in the area. It's not like evangelicals with no connection to the school are going to start making pilgrimages to see Liberty Football and their alumni base that actually attended school on campus and were watching football while there is relatively small. I'm not saying they can't get there and even at the high teens low twenty's they'll be outdrawing more than a couple G5 school. But upper 20's by 2019 is crazy. They'll sell out Syracuse for the opener probably but their schedule after that is Buffalo, Hampton, New Mexico, Maine, NMSU.

I based it on the fact their season ticket sales will probably shoot up. When I typeds upper 20's...I was thinking 27k. We'll see. Regardless even if they average in the low 20's it will still average more than the average MAC, Sun Belt and CUSA team and would be pushing towards the MWC average.
