RE: Time for Pelosi to cash in her chips
it's the curse that runs in my family..... have had gram, gram, and ggfather all pass from it.....all in their late 90s.....hell, my moms father is still breathing at 97........he's still sharp as a tack....I tell him he's the "exception"

no way I want to live that long....

My MIL is starting to suffer from it but she's 87 and her heart is like a 20 year old. She's just existing. I sure wouldn't want to live that long either. My mom died of an aneurism at 73 but that's the way she wanted it, she didn't want to be anyone's problem. My dad died at 89 after a fall and the surely to come pneumonia. I want to die young like my mom. There's really nothing here on this earth that would compel me to stay too long.

To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. That's the ticket.

But it's not up to us how long we remain here. The only thing I wish God had changed in the Bible is that it's a sin to take your own life, now that's a bummer. I know of too many people that would wish they were dead instead of just existing in a terrible way but suicide is out of the picture for religious reasons.
