Many years.

Fortunately, it is being systematically wiped away (with a cloth?) as if it never happened.

And how many of these are tied to DJT in any way shape or form - which I thought was the original intent of this "investigation"?????

That’s certainly what leaky Homey intended at the time.

Wonder when his indictment comes down?

RE: U.S. Foolishness and Stupidity
Here's where Putin sits. Adapted from Peter Zeihan, but I've done enough of my own research to believe.

His demographics are badly upside down. One problem that Gorbachev faced with the old Soviet Union is that Muslims in the "Stans" were making babies for recreation, while Russians and other Slavs were drinking vodka for theirs. The Soviet Union was going to be majority Muslim by around 2050, and the Red Army was going to be majority Muslim around 2025. To a culture and people scared spitless by the specter of Genghis Khan and the Mongol hordes, this was not a good picture. I once read an article on Gorbachev that described him as a "pragmatist first, a Russian second, and a communist third." Letting the Asian republics go was the only way to keep Russia Russian. Now Putin is dealing with the Russian side of the demographic. By 2025 or so, he won't have enough 20-somethings to keep his Army at present levels.

His other problem is that he doesn't have defensible borders facing Europe. From the Rhine to the Urals, eastern Europe is one big plain with no natural barriers. That's why Germany was so warlike, they had to defend their eastern front. That's why Poland has moved around over history, and Poles have moved around with it. Poland was whatever was left over between Germany and Russia at any point in time over several centuries. As long as the Iron Curtain was in place, Russia could anchor the left side of its western front in the Carpathians, and from there to te Baltic was not that far.

So defending Russia gets a lot easier if they have the Carpathians on the left flank, but they've only got about ten years to secure that. What they do have is a huge hunk of Europe's oil and gas supply, and the willingness to use that strategically. But all that oil and gas flows west in pipelines passing through those countries that stand between Russia and the Carpathians--Ukraine, Belarus, Poland.

So, what do you do if you're Putin? And how do we respond?
