Even though it looks like Dave Maggard is staying, which is a good thing for sound bytes at the very least, here's who I think should be in line to replace DM as the UH Athletic Director (this was the poll that was crushed by the angry mod earlier... now that it's not true, in could almost be borderline funny)

Other suggestions are welcome (in case I get selected to chair the search committee)

Heck, I'm surprised it hadn't already started up. A couple weeks ago on Owlzone, some Coogs had come over for pre-Bucket smack talk, and a Rice guy said "so are y'all gonna swing helmets at us"? To his great credit, the UH guy who replied simply said "I don't know, are y'all gonna get a fat, obnoxious, painted-up Polynesian mascot"? I thought for sure there was a Rice chick joke coming after OwlJacket saw that.

Well, none of the DOG squad are polynesian to my knowledge.
