Ha. I was already going. It definitely felt weird to write "North Carolina- Charlotte" but it was too late to turn back.

FAU out of the 8 conference games this year your guy should celebrate if a team or two even covers the spread.

All four losses on the road to Oklahoma, UCF, MTSU and Marshall. Last years fighting Lanes started off a whopping 3-3, with one loss to lowly Buffalo on the road. So there’s precedent for starting slow.
Then you have the issue of breaking in 6 starters on O, namely all your interior lineman and QB.
Speaking of which, impressive job with your potential replacements Robison or Johnson, both highly toughted prospects for sure. HOWEVER, any Marshall fan can attest to this. Just because they are highly toughted transfers does not guarantee they live up to their billing (I.E. Willie Korn). Heck, our highly touted QB recruit from a few years ago Xavier Gaines is currently our backup TE.
You have a great team and program, and can certainly carry our league again this year. But to call others silly just because we don’t wear your same rosy glasses, especially with holes and a much, much tougher schedule this year, we’ll, bless your heart.

The interior online thing is way overblown both the center and LG had good springs now we add two grad transfers and another JUCO. Out of the 6 guys competed there they will be fine.
The online last year didn’t have someone who could snap the ball until week 4 last year. In 2017 they added like 35 players over the summer.
The roster is way more settled than last year. All the stars on offense are back plus we had Durant the WVU WR transfer who sat out last year and was the best player in the spring.
Also people talk on this forum like Driskel was more than a game manager. If who ever wins the QB job is an average passer and is more of threat running it’s an upgrade.
We are the 2016 WKU team with a better D.
I just love how our QBs are a question mark but Marshall bringing and FCS guy who was hurt last year should lead them to the title.
I get it Marshall is the sexy pick this year, but dam.

With the exception of ODU, MTSU, and WKU, I agree with you. I'm 100 % with you in the West. In the east, I have FAU, FIU, Marshall, MTSU, WKU, ODU, and Charlotte. But I like ODU's Dline enough that I can see your rankings. Serious question: Has WKU fallen from grace this much that you have the toppers 2nd from last? If it wasn't for the MTSU QB I'd have WKU over MTSU. But then again, what the heck do I know when even the experts can't get it right.

Speaking of Marshalls transfer QB, I heard he re-injured himself lately. I was never one to think the new QBs would produce better than Chase.
But we bring back an awful lot. So the thinking is whomever gets that job, just needs to hold it down. We will have a potent running game and D to keep us in games.
Also, one reason others are higher on Marshall is because of our schedule. It's a major win for us to get both you and MTSU at home this year.

Haven’t heard about the Thomson injury. Would have to see it in local
Media to believe it. Chase stunk for a 3 year starter. Both Thomson or Green will be better QB’s.
