There is merch to prove it. The UConn Blog did a post about how the Civil ConFLiCT is ON! A couple of things came to mind when reading this write up. 1) The ConFLiCT was so stupid at the time it was invented that it is almost fun now due to its ever evolving absurdity. Sure, it doesn’t really exist… but then again, neither does Santa Claus (and we all shamelessly sell our kids on that myth every year, so why not roll with it). 2) The write-up correctly referred to UCF as the reigning National Champs. Why wouldn’t we get fired up to play the team which was the best team in American last year? (Slurp on that bone, Nick Saban.)

if uconn gets back to their "tough, developing underrated players into nfl prospects" level and ucf stays at their level and the uconn home games are played in the cold. this thing could really heat up.
