The toughest QB on Syracuse is the son of Survivor legends Brad & Monica Culpepper who beat out testicular cancer to return.

Here, Here...heard Rex is doing well. He is competing for 3rd string this year. Great kid.

Apparently all those concussions he gets are causing him to make some very bad decisions. Or is it the other way around?

The vicious late hit he took in 2015 is the only official one we know about. I'm thinking he had another one but it might have been pretty mild. He is a tough kid. Gained 25 lbs of muscle to fight off defensive hits.

It's a tough call for a coach to rein him in to protect him. That recklessness is a big part of what makes him so good. From what I've seen, Syracuse is a much better team with him on the field, and a lot of that is intangibles. The "bad decisions" are the ones where he sacrifices his body to stretch a play (like those video clips).

RE: The Toughest QB Out There
The toughest QB in college football is UNT's Mason Fine, and it's not even close. The 5'10", 175 pound sophomore had every team on the schedule trying to take his head off last season. He was sacked 39 times in 2017, but kept answering the bell. The guys can take a hit. Even though Fine ranked among the most sacked QB's in the FBS last season, he still threw for over 4,000 yards and 31 touchdowns. None of the returning QB's this season passed for more yards then Mason Fine last year.

Check out this 2017 highlight clip. It's impressive.

Watch the last play in this video.
